Creating an SMSlink account is free and reserved for professionals. 

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to the registration page
    Visit  https://my.smslink.pro/register

  2. Fill out the form

  • Organization / Company: Enter the name of your company, association, or community.

  • Email address: Enter a professional email address.

  • Password: Choose a secure password of at least 8 characters, including an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character.

  • Mobile phone: Enter a mobile phone number (SMS verification is used to secure your account).

  1. Validate the registration
    Click the “Get Started” button.
  2. Verify your account
    A verification code will be sent to you by SMS to confirm your number and activate your account.

  3. Start right away
    After registration, you receive 20 free SMS credits to test the platform and its features.

At import and sending, our system automatically analyzes and cleans your contact list by:

  • Removing duplicates;
  • Excluding landline numbers;
  • Eliminating numbers that do not comply with the mobile numbering plan of the relevant territory.

Before any use, make sure your contact list complies with current regulations, particularly regarding opt-in/opt-out obligations.

Yes, SMSlink allows you to customize the sender of your SMS.
You can display the name of your store or brand:

  • The sender name can contain up to 11 alphanumeric characters without spaces.
  • This option requires prior validation for security reasons.

Easily track the status of your campaigns:

Delivered: the message was successfully delivered to the recipient

Not delivered: the message could not be delivered due to an invalid, non-existent, or blocked number, or because the phone was switched off, out of coverage area, etc.

To view the details of your sends, go to the "My campaigns" tab: reports can be viewed online and downloaded.

Creating an SMS campaign on SMSlink is easy from your client area, by following these steps:

Accessing campaign creation

  1. From the side menu
    In the left column, click on “SMS Campaigns”, then on “New campaign”. You will then access the campaign editor to configure and send your SMS messages.
  2. From the main dashboard
    Click directly on the “Send an SMS campaign” button located at the top right of the screen. This shortcut also takes you to the campaign creation page.

Campaign settings

  1. Campaign name
    Assign a name to your campaign (e.g.: Summer Promo, Client Follow-up…). This name, only visible to you, makes it easier to track in your history.
  2. Custom sender
    Display your brand or store name, which will appear as the sender instead of the standard number.
  3. Message
    Write your SMS while respecting the 160-character limit per SMS.
    A counter shows you in real time the remaining characters and the number of SMS generated.
    💡 By checking the Unicode option (emojis or special characters), the limit changes to 70 characters per SMS.
    🔔 Mandatory STOP mention for commercial SMS: check the dedicated option to automatically add the unsubscribe link (uncheck this option for transactional, informational, or internal messages).
    ⚠ The system automatically splits longer messages: each segment is counted as a separate SMS.
  4. Recipients
    Select a saved contact list or enter numbers manually (separated by commas, semicolons, spaces, or line breaks).
    📌 Phone number formatting requires the following elements:
    * Country code (international) Country calling code
    * Area code
    * Local number
    Examples: 687123456 (New Caledonia), 68912345678 (French Polynesia)
  5. Scheduling & sending
    Send your campaign immediately or schedule it for the date and time of your choice.
    Before confirmation, a full summary allows you to verify: the sender, the message, the recipients, and the scheduling.
    Finalize your sending by clicking on “Save” or “Review and schedule sending”.

Personalization is one of the secrets to making your SMS campaigns successful!

To personalize your messages, start by importing your contact list in CSV format and adding the desired information for each recipient.

Available fields for personalization:

  • First Name: {first_name}

  • Last Name: {last_name}

As well as 4 customizable parameters of your choice:

  • Param 1: {param_1} (example: City)

  • Param 2: {param_2} (example: Company)

  • Param 3: {param_3} (example: Offer or customer segment)
    Param 4: {param_4} (example: Date, promo code, etc.)

When writing your SMS, simply insert these fields into your message. Each recipient will then receive a personalized SMS with their own information.

Example of a personalized SMS:

Hello {first_name}, enjoy a {param_4} offer in {param_1} at {param_2}!

Make sure you have collected the OPT-in from your contacts before importing them, in order to comply with regulations.

1- Prepare a CSV file 

  • Header: First Name, Last Name, Mobile, Email, Param 1, Param 2…

  • Phone number format: 

    • New Caledonia: 687123456

    • French Polynesia: 68912345678

2- Log in to SMSlink, go to Contacts → My contacts

3- Click on Import contacts

4- In step 1 Upload a file, select your CSV, then click Next

5- In 2 Field mapping, assign each column of your CSV header to the corresponding SMSlink field (First Name → First Name, Last Name → Last Name, Mobile → Mobile, etc.). 

If a column is not useful, choose Ignore. Click Next.

6- In 3 Select a list (optional), check the existing list. Click Next.

7- Step 4 Finalize:  check the box « I certify that the newly imported contacts fully meet these conditions » to validate consent. Click Confirm.

8- A notification informs you when the import is complete: go back to My contacts to view your new records

9- Use the “Search filters” bar located at the top of your contact list to quickly find a contact.

To maximize the impact of your campaigns, here are some recommended best practices:

Be clear and catchy
Write a simple, structured, and relevant message, and start with a catchy word or phrase.

Visual impact
Use CAPITAL LETTERS sparingly: limit yourself to one or two words in uppercase to grab attention without harming readability.

Personalize your messages
Mention the recipient’s name if possible. A personalized SMS generates more engagement than a generic one.

Clickable phone numbers
If you include a phone number in the text, write it without spaces or separators (e.g., 687123456), so the recipient can click directly to call.

Unsubscribe link (commercial/marketing SMS)
Add a double line break before the STOP link (www.STOP-SMS.pro) to make it clearly visible and avoid disrupting the main message.

Always test before sending
Always send a test message to yourself or a colleague to check formatting, links, and personalization before broadcasting your campaign to your full contact list.
